Harper's First Tent
Harper loves playing with a couple of fleece blankets we have. Today we made a tent by draping the blanket between the ottoman and couch. It didn't last long as she wanted to get on top of the tent which caused a cave in.
I unzipped my sleepsuit
The other night when I went to check on Harper before I went to bed I found with her sleepsuit halfway off. She had finally figured out how to unzip it.
Sledding and Snowman
We had more snow the last week or so. We got up to a total of 6 inches which is a lot for us. One day we went over to Uncle Fory's and went sledding. Uncle Fory built a big bonfire too. Harper was not really enthusiastic out in the snow but she did like watching snowballs fly and sledding down the hill.
This is the life having Daddy pull me in the sled
Going down the hill with Daddy
Enjoying the bonfire and sitting in Uncle Fory's Gator
The first snowfall was just a couple of inches but the next snowfall yield the 6 inches. We spent most of the day inside but finally made our way outside to build a snowman. The snow was too deep for Harper to walk in. I did lay her on the ground to see if we would make a snow angel but it there was sleet falling in her face so we will do that another time.
It snowed most of the day and was so beautiful.
Both James and I went for a run in the falling snow.
Um, I can't move.
Help, I fallen and I can't get up. Daddy, Harper and Snowman.

It's a Boy
Last Friday (2/1), I got really sick with throwing up and diarrhea. It started at 12:30am and last till about 6am (thank goodness for priesthood blessings). It was the most violent throwing up I have ever experienced. I thought it was food poisoning as neither Harper nor James got it Saturday, Sunday, or Monday. Tuesday morning (2/5) at 5:25am James woke me up and said he had diarrhea. Then the vomiting started. I was suppose to have my ultrasound that day to find out the gender of the baby. I was going to cancel it but James said to keep it and have his mom watch Harper. So, still in our pjs, Harper and I went over to Grandma Flo's to see if she could watch Harper later.
When I went to my ultrasound I asked them if they could put the gender picture in an envelope so James and I could open it together which they did. It was really neat to see the baby's heart and brain. The baby was moving all over. It was a nice baby and mommy time for me.
When I got home James was still throwing up and so at 3:30pm we went to the ER. We finally came home after James had an IV; it was about 7:45pm. We got Harper to bed, ate a little, and then James opened the envelope and excitingly exclaimed, "No way, its a boy". I was shocked, I thought we were having another girl (we both did). We are excited to finally have a male grandson in the Edwards Family. The OB office called yesterday and said there is a small amount of fluid around the baby's heart so we are going to have another ultrasound done in two weeks; I hope everything is okay, trying to leave my worry in the Lord's hands. We are thinking of naming him Noah James Edwards.
It's upside down but can you spot the penis?
I love technology, I really love technology
Harper loves cell phones and computers. If she can get her hands on someone's phone she goes for it. She even started to take a lady's phone out of the lady's purse at a basketball game (lucky the lady didn't see her). She likes to also play with her toy phone and pretend she is talking to someone on the phone.
Harper also loves Daddy's computer. If either one of us are on the computer she wants to sit on our laps and watch. Today at the library she climbed up on the chair at the kid's computer all by herself and was happily typing away.
Snow
We have had a couple of snow falls, not much but we take what we can. The morning of the first snowfall James got a cup and filled it with snow for Harper to touch and play with. I put it in a bowl and we made two snowballs. She wasn't too sure about it and would not taste it.
The second snowfall we went outside and I showed her how to catch a snowflake in her hand. She loves walking around in the snow. Hopefully after nap time we can go sledding at Uncle Fory's.
Help!!!! I'm stuck!!!
James and I were busy talking when all of a sudden Harper cried out. I turned around and she had gotten herself stuck in the Big Blue Pot. I quickly grabbed my phone and started taking pictures while laughing. Poor Harper got more stuck, was crying for help, and we were laughing. Eventually Daddy came to the rescue and got her out.
Enjoying the Playground
Since we had some great sunshine weather, Harper and I went to the playground a couple of times. She loves going down the slides. She would prefer to go down the big slides by herself but I worry she will get hurt so we go down them together. She tries to climb up the slides too.
I put her on the second bump and let her slide down on her own.
Harper loves watching the big kids play. There was a baby boxer that Harper got to pet.
The dog licked her and she thought was pretty funny.
