On our first full day there we went for a walk, played at the playground, and went swimming. When we first checked out the indoor pool the water felt warm since our cold hands had been outside but when we went swimming it was actually cold and we only lasted out 30 minutes. Harper was not too sure about such a big body of water and she clung to Oma the whole time. She loves baths and playing in the water but we have not been swimming since Snowbird and I think she was a bit scared. That night we drove to Wenatchee for a Elma Girls Basketball game.
The next day James and I went Snowshoeing. At 5 months pregnant I think I did pretty good. A gentlemen showed us a trailhead from a distance which we decided to take. No one else had been on the trail recently so we had to carve our own trail. Before we started I told James I did not want to go off trail just to be safe but we did on the way down; it is just so much more fun. While we snowshoed Harper played at the playground with Oma and Opa. There was a bit of ice on the slide and so when Harper went down in her snow pants she went really fast. One ride was enough for her. After Harper's nap we went and walked downtown Chelan, which consisted of about 4 blocks of stores.
The next day we went to church. Chelan has a very friendly ward. The organist was turning 100 years old the next day and so the ward had a surprised Birthday/Potluck lunch party for her. We got multiple offers to stay and eat so we did.
Monday morning we headed back to the Seattle Airport to drop off Oma and Opa and head home. Harper loved being with her Oma and Opa (and Oma spoiled her more than just a little bit).

After going down the slide, Harper would sign "again" and say "nain"

To get down this part of the hill, James and slid down on our backsides.
