Working out in the yard

Since the weather has warmed up and the rains are less frequent, James has been working out in the yard.  He finished the retaining wall around the drain field; eventually we will have grass.  He built a garden area so I planted a few things this year.  We have zucchini, tomatoes, strawberries, chard, beets, peppers, and potatoes.  Next year we will have a bigger garden on the south side of the house, and this corner garden plot will become our strawberry patch.  James had some trees felled and he hired a guy (who was excavating on our road for a new house) to come and move them to the front.  Harper and I had fun watching him move the logs from the back of the house to the front; we ran back forth between the sliding door and the front window.

Harper loves being outside with her daddy.

The retaining wall outlining the drain field.

 My first ever garden.

Harper loves to climb up in Daddy's Gator and pretend to drive.

Enjoying a picnic lunch in the warm weather.
