Oma and Opa's Visit

Oma and Opa came to visit on August 2 and stayed till August 7; they were here while James was at Cross Country Camp.  Harper was again in Heaven having Oma and Opa here.  She loves people and having playmates.  We mostly stuck around here but did go down to Long Beach and Astoria one day.  We went to beach in Long Beach and had clam chowder.  Then we headed over to Astoria and went to the Astoria Column.  Opa carried Harper up the 165 stairs and I carried Noah.  My calves were sore the next day.

Harper, Opa, Holly, and Noah at Long Beach.  I have yet to be at Long Beach when the sun is out.

While I was nursing Noah, Oma, Opa, and Harper went to a Worldmark presentation and got a free kite.  Harper and Opa flew the kite as Long Beach is a windy beach.

The view from the Astoria Column.  The bridge crosses the Columbia and connects Oregon and Washington.  James used to run a race across the bridge.
